The story of my exit
by mrsObfuscate ini have been lurking here for about 6 months, and being the last day of the year, and ready to start the new one afresh, i want to share the story of our exit from the org.
i have found the personal experiences of others of immeasurable value, (and its been a while since a good exit story has been posted) that i hope this can be of benefit to at least someone.. .
my mother became a jehovahs witness when i was about 9 or 10. i remember initially hating all of the new sanctions put on our lives (no birthdays and christmas anymore) but for some reason i soon after joined her in attending the meetings and eventually got baptized at the age of 14. my staunch catholic father converted a couple of years later.

apparently some sister complained to her that my attitude was irritating.
the sister in question is just bothered by the fact that i ignore her along with her four daughters.

Of course if you do not take the initiative to greet someone, that person could take the higher road and come to greet you warmly...rather than complain to the overworked elders. Why do so many persons always expect the other to take initiative. -

Outstanding video - thanks for sharing. I like how he makes it personal (telling details about the children), how he explains the logic of the scriptures versus the hardness of the Pharisees and their legalistic unloving approach and comparing the number of cult deaths. Recommend with 5 stars! -

Watchtower Content Producers Tardy With their Monthly Broadcast. WHY?
by scotoma inhow hard is it to produce a monthly program and get it up on time?
they are late every month.. are these the same people that published 128 pages of magazines by the 1st,8th,15th and 22nd of every month for over 100 years?
are they understaffed?
